Bath liquids for thermostatic baths
Bath liquids.Use of the appropriate liquids for heat transfer listed here offers many advantages:Safe to use, non toxic, and generally odourless formulationsResistance to ageing and viscosity changes with low susceptibility to corrosion.Silicone oils (SIL).Non-flammable, with long operational life.Synthetic heat transfer fluids (Synth).Usually formulated from a hydrocarbon base with low viscosity within the recommended working temperature range.Viscosity.For optimal temperature stability the bath fluid must be of low viscosity.Fire point.Fluids can spontaneously ignite above a certain temperature. EN 61010 stipulates that the maximum working temperature of the liquid should be 25 °C below its' fire point.Heating up range.Prolonged use is not permitted as the self-heating effect within these liquids may cause the overtemperature protection system of the pump unit to operate and shut down the pump.Operating temperature range.Thermostats may only be operated for an extended time in this range under certain conditions. Viscosity must not exceed 30 mPas. Otherwise pumps will not achieve their stated performance figures.Working temperature range.The long-term use range for peak thermostatic bath performance. Maximum viscosity level is approx. 5 mPas.

With glass-screw connections GL14 with PTFE olives (O.D. 9mm, T-GL2000 with GL18 and O.D. 11mm) for thermostat hoses. Coolant ram pressure: 0.5bar at maximum, operating temperature: +120°C at maximum. Special sizes available on request.

Beer Force-Ageing-Test Bath BFT®5
We offer special air cooled circulator for the Beer Force-Ageing-Test. It is equipped with a programmer for the change between 0 °C / 40 °C and 0 °C / 60 °C in a 24 hour cycle. Casings and bath parts are made of stainless steel.

Chillers, Minichiller®
Small, robust and cost effective with its stainless steel casing. The Minichiller is the smallest Unichiller in the world. Minichillers are available with air or water-cooled refrigeration systems, illuminated level indicator, overflow and drain on the front. The filling port is on the top of the unit. All models use natural refrigerants as standard. Minichillers have suction and pressure pumps and therefore have the advantage of have a high flow at low pressure. Circulation Heat Exchanger HTS
Heat exchanger systems with circulation pump for connection to cooling water on the primary side. The devices provide a cooling circuit with stable pressure/ ow and adjustable operating temperature. The cooling capacity is generated using a plate heat exchanger via the cooling water. Since there is no active cooling machine, the devices operate in a quiet and energy-saving manner and are a cost-effective alternative to conventional chillers e.g. for the temperature control of Peltier elements, bioreactors, etc.The model HTS 1 contains the heat exchanger system, however it does not have any temperature control.
