HELLMANEX® III liquid
Cleaning:HELLMANEX® III is an alkaline liquid concentrate used for the highly effective cleaning of glass or silica cells and other sensitive optical components. Laboratory equipment made of glass, quartz, sapphire and porcelain can also be cleaned using the solution.Characteristics:Hellmanex® III significantly reduces the surface tension of water. The removal of dirt particles is also assured by the good wetting action of a Hellmanex® III aqueous solution, whilst its high emulsifying and dispersing capabilities prevent the re-deposition of the loosened particles. Special surface-active substances facilitate the residue-free rinsing of the optical components once they have been cleaned.Cleaning and Dilution:The optimal dilution depends on several factors, such as the hardness of the water, the degree and type of contamination, the temperature, etc. The use of demineralised water improves the cleaning characteristics.Available in 1.3kg PE-bottle.The following treatments have been proven at a concentration (vol%) 0.5 to 2 in practice.Temperature°CTime minutes20-25120-18030-3530-4050-60 (quartz only)10-1570-80 (quartz only) 5

Lovibond® Comparator 2000+
Lovibond® Comparator 2000+ is a quality instrument for the visual analysis of colour intensity in analysis samples using Lovibond colour discs. The integral cell attachment enables cells with a depth of 40mm to be accepted. The Lovibond® Nessleriser system provides greater depths by using corresponding accessory Nessler tubes. This enables the determination of concentrations below the detection limit of the Lovibond® Comparator 2000+. The integral prism in the Lovibond® Comparator 2000+ brings the glass standard of the colour discs and the colour samples optically into the field of view. The prism is hermetically sealed, preventing the lens from being contaminated. Both the Comparator 2000+ and the Nessleriser are designed in such a way that they compensate for cloudy or coloured water samples. Each device is available for use in daylight or in combination with the artificial daylight unit 2000.

Lovibond® Comparator 3000
Visual comparators for colour grading. A series of 3-field instruments designed for visual colour grading by direct comparison between the sample and coloured glass standards. The sample and two adjacent glasses on the colour scale are viewed simultaneously, making it easier to achieve the optimum colour match. The tungsten halogen light source is colour corrected to CIE Standard Illuminant C (B for the EBC Comparator 3000) and guarantees constant lighting conditions for colour grading. Versions of the Comparator 3000 are available for the following scales, each supplied with the appropriate range of colour standards and sample containers:TypeTypical ApplicationsGardner Comparator 3000:Chemicals and oils including resins, varnishes, drying oils and fatty acids (ASTM D1544; ISO 4630, AOCS Methods Ja 9-87, Td 1a-64, Td 3a-64).Petroleum Oils Comparator (AF 650):Petroleum oils and fuels (ASTM D1500; IP 196; DIN 51 578; ISO 2049; BS 5859)EBC Comparator 3000:Beers, malt worts, caramels and similarly coloured liquids (Analytica)
