The WHEATON® filtering apparatus are available with fritted glass support, with stainless steel support or with PTFE support. The glass components are manufactured from WHEATON® low extractable borosilicate glass 3.3. that conforms to ASTM E 438 Type I, Class A requirements. The 25 mm filtering apparatus are designed to handle small volumes of liquids, the 47 mm filtering apparatus are suitable for volumes up to 1000 ml.
