The laboratory presses are available as analogue models with pressure gauge or as digital models with digital pressure display. MP150 is ideal for IR spectroscopy, for 13 mm diameter press dies. MP250 is used in RFA analysis to form tablets with a diameter of 32 mm or 40 mm. For smaller press dies or more accurate pressure control, the MP150D or MP250D digital models are suitable.The MP150D and the MP250D can be equipped with a serial interface (optional). In addition, an individually programmable pressure limitation (optional) is available for setting the desired maximum pressure. Further pumping then does not build up higher pressure beyond the set value. This is especially useful if the sample should always be pressed with the same pressure. Mesh, Polyamide
Thermo-fixed Polyamide (Nylon) mesh is temperature stable from -40 °C to 115 °C. In water from 95 °C to 100 °C. Stability in acids is limited and dependent on concentration and temperature. Nylon exhibits outstanding stability in alkalis, including sodium and potassium solutions. Its chemical behaviour with respect to organic solvents is moderate to good.
