Membrane filters type 135, hydrophobic edged cellulose acetate

Cellulose nitrate (cellulose ester) membrane filters, white with black grid, for colony count and sterility testing, individually, sterile packaged / non-sterile.

Type 111. Resistant to steam sterilisation up to 134 °C, or in dry heat up to 180 °C. Very low adsorption (important when filtering proteinaceous solutions). Suitable for particle removal and ultracleaning of aqueous solutions, methanol, ethanol, high-grade alcohols and residue analysis of fuels and oils. White, individually sterile packed. Very low content of extractable materials. Weight constant after 60 minutes of drying at 105 °C. Suitable for residue analysis, microscopic viewing in incident or transmitted light, chemotaxis, x-ray fluorescence, spectrometry and gravimetric analysis. Autoclavable at 121 °C.
